Same work, less pay

CUPE 4705 members at Greater Sudbury Housing do the same work as their counterparts at the City of Sudbury, but are paid less. It’s time for our employer to ensure that our members receive equal pay for equal work.

Unsafe working conditions

Workers at Greater Sudbury Housing deal with health and safety issues every day, from dealing with police raids in buildings and physical altercations and having to work alone in unsafe conditions. The employer is refusing to take these issues seriously.

Our working conditions are tenants’ living conditions. We want healthy, safe workplaces for both employees and residents. We deserve a safe place to work with fair wages, and residents deserve an affordable and safe place to call home.

We need your support.

These issues have led us to vote in favour of strike action. We are in negotiations with our employer, and need your help to get a fair deal and avoid a strike.

Please help us by taking a moment to send a letter urging our employer to help us avoid a strike by negotiating a fair agreement.
