For the past two years, our bargaining team has been fighting for better pay and benefits for all Paladin Security workers employed at Nova Scotia’s hospitals. We are only asking to be treated the same as the security workers employed by the IWK, who are also contracted under the Nova Scotia Health Authority. Right now, they make more, are given protective equipment, receive adequate sick time, vacation time, have medical benefits, and are eligible for a pension. We deserve that too!
