People working in and visiting Saskatoon libraries deserve to be safe. That’s why CUPE 2669, representing workers in 9 Saskatoon libraries, is fighting for basic safety protections to address increasing violence in the workplace.
Despite being aware of the increase in violence incidents, the Saskatoon library bargaining committee has resisted including any new provisions in the collective agreement to help keep workers and library patrons safe. That’s not right.
