Local Access to MRM - Data Entry/Query Users (ALBERTA ONLY)

CUPE National’s Member Relationship Management – Local Union Information (MRM-LUI) tool will now be available to all CUPE locals in Alberta only. This software has been developed to assist locals in Alberta to manage not only the contact information for their members but to also allow them to manage the Bill 32 legislative requirements regarding the core and non-core portions of dues remittance.

This 3-hour session is for those users of MRM-LUI who the local determines will have the capabilities to view information, enter and modify data and create Query lists (data lists) from the system.

Roots to Power 4 - Alberta Locals Only

Roots to Power 4 will take place via Zoom and focus on political action. Participants will join sessions about Bill 81, media relations and literacy, getting involved in political campaigns and more.

N.B. : Quand vous aurez complété cet atelier, n'oubliez pas de vous inscrire à la Partie 2 afin de recevoir l'étampe dans votre passeport. Il vous faudra celle-ci afin de prendre d'autres cours dans la Série de cours pour les personnes déléguées syndicales.

The Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) regulates the collection, use and disclosure of personal information and personal employee information by private sector organizations in Alberta. Trade Unions and their Locals are required to designate an individual to be a contact person that ensures their Local’s compliance with PIPA.

Please join us while we review the duties of Privacy Officers, provide and review sample Privacy Policies for Locals and start the groundwork for a Privacy Officer Network for CUPE Locals in Alberta. This Network is open to all Privacy Officers in Alberta
