Brother André Lamoureux
Brother André Lamoureux was a dedicated union activist, who began his career within the school board sector before proudly becoming a National Servicing Representative within the Cornwall Area. He went on to occupy a position as Assistant Regional Director and was greatly respected by his fellow Sisters and Brothers. In his last year with CUPE, André also added the title of Assistant Director of Organizing and Regional Services. It is with great honour that we commemorate André by naming this Educational Opportunity after him, in the area that he originated.
