NADC SPRING 2025 SCHOOL

le 8 au 11 avril 2025 | Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge & Conference Centre, Smithers (Colombie-Britannique) | Anglais | $100 (Affilié) | $260 (Non-affilié)
NADC Spring 2025 school will be held from April 8-11 2025 at the Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge & Conference Centre in Smithers, BC.

This school is open to both members of affiliated locals and non-affiliated locals at a cost.

Courses will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day Tue - Thu and Friday April 11th will be half a day (am only) for course wrap up and closing sessions.

Course offerings will be:
1) Collective Bargaining
2) Local Executive Training
3) Shop Steward Learning Series

** The Shop Steward Series (SLS) will be A la Carte options where you can choose from 2 different options each day Tue - Thu You MUST pick a course for each day. If your registration is NOT complete with a chosen Option 1 or 2 for each day it is not a confirmed registration and you can lose your spot ***

NADC has contracted a group rate with the hotel. Group code and information will be sent directly from NADC after registration. Please ensure to provide your own correct email address during registration.

Cet atelier pose la question différemment : Qui est impliqué, qui ne l'est pas et pourquoi ? Comment nos préjugés inconscients pourraient-ils y contribuer ? Comment pouvons-nous représenter les membres d'une manière qui invite les membres plus marginalisés à s'impliquer et à voir le syndicat comme un endroit où ils veulent faire la différence ?

Session 3 - Leadership in Locals and Between Locals
Session 4 - Fundamentals of Labour Law

All staff and members are encouraged to complete daily self-screening before attending any CUPE event, and to stay home if they are exhibiting symptoms related to COVID-19, or any other infectious disease, including the flu, common cold, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), etc.

Masking and physical distancing of six feet is encouraged, but no longer mandatory.

Summer School fees:
"Early Bird" registrations/cheques must be received by March 24, 2025.
Hotel Room - double occupancy - $1,373 (Early bird); after March 20/25 - $1,499
Hotel Room - single occupancy - $2,003 (Early bird); after March 20/25 - $2,192
Cabin - double occupancy - $1,625 (Early bird); after March 20/25 - $1,814
No single occupancy is available in cabin.
